no comment. th(é)âtre produces theatre and creates concepts which are not bound by categorisation. We make theatre which investigates the question 'what is going on in the world right now?' no comment. aims to reveal the complexities and highlight the contradictions of our society through an eclectic mix of international forms and content. We remain true to our roots while continually evolving our work.

no comment. th(é)âtre is an evolution; it is a new articulation, a new vision and a new journey for the theatre company formerly known as Stages Theatre Co. Stages was born from a desire to provide opportunities for ourselves and for other emerging artists in Vancouver. It was made up of three friends and colleagues who set out to create thought-provoking, ballsy, and often humorous works that we considered to be relevant, engaging, and, quite simply, a good f***ing time.

Some of the projects listed on this website were produced under our former company name Stages Theatre Co. We believe it to be necessary to include these as they have moulded our practice and have shaped who we are as no comment. th(é)âtre. We would like to thank Devon Busswood and Alex Strong for their contributions in the early stages of our journey.

When in Vancouver, no comment. th(é)âtre acknowledges that it is on the traditional, unceded, and occupied territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. As artists and creators we are deeply grateful to be able to live, work and play on these lands.

Cory Haas - Artistic Director and Producer

Cory is a bilingual director, performer, maker, translator, and actor trainer. He holds an MFA from the Central School of Speech and Drama in Actor Training and Coaching and a BPA from Capilano University. He has directed all of Stages Theatre Co. and no comment. productions. He co-directed Stages' BALLS with Gilles Poulain-Denis of 2PAR4 and co-created Naked Love with Tiffany Anderson.

He recently created Nos repaires # 1 for Théâtre La Seizième and is developing no comment. th(é)âtre's next creation DILEMME. He is also the artistic assistant for Théâtre la Seizième in Vancouver.

He has conceived pieces for FUSE and the PuSh Festival. Cory also associate directs, writes, produces, teaches, coaches and facilitates workshops, and works in voiceover.

Natasha Zacher- Artistic Associate and Producer

Natasha is a Canadian actor, producer, writer, and inclusive arts facilitator currently living and working in London. Natasha is a graduate of the UBC BFA in Acting program and has a Masters of Counselling through Athabasca University.

Recent work includes: The Ending Project (no comment. th(é)âtre w/ LaLaLab & LooseLocked), Great Again (Old Sole/VAULT Festival), Little One (Stages Theatre Co./Oh Canada! F(eh)stival), Big Stories from the Little Box (Chickenshed Theatre), and scraTTch (Theatre Thirteen which she co-founded).

Natasha was the emotional support coordinator for The Boy In The Moon with Neworld Theatre.
